Snow Closing Protocol

In the event of inclement weather, the Lexington Latin School will follow Fayette County school closings. You will need to check your local TV/radio for the most up-to-date information.

If you want to use those days as a school day, you can have something previously prepared that you would like for your children to do as part of their homeschooling calendared work. We have several moms at our school with good ideas of “home” activities, which you can count into your schooling. Some even plan ways to learn math or science while sledding during the day! On that day off, it is always a good idea to have a book on hand from our summer reading list and be prepared. They can review their current literature, arithmetic, etc. And, of course, every day is a good day to review your Latin lesson!
