How to Apply
- Once you have decided to pursue the Lexington Latin School for your student, you should submit the following:
- A completed application form by February 10, 2012 will place you in the first-round acceptance deadline. All students that apply by the deadline will receive the same priority for acceptance. Students applying after the first acceptance deadline will have their priority based upon the date of receipt of application.
- Students applying for first grade and higher need to supply report cards, standardized test results, and the names and addresses of previous schools, along with permission for LLS to contact those schools.
- If homeschooled, please supply us with grades you have assigned and a summary of the most recent courses of study.
- A $100 application fee per family should be included with the application.
- When we receive your complete application packet, we will contact you to schedule a placement test and interview. There is a $50 testing fee per student.
- When applying, testing, and interviewing are completed you will receive one of the following:
- an acceptance letter and an invoice for a $375 Materials and Book Fee per student
- a letter notifying you that your student has been placed on a waiting list
- a letter notifying you that your application has been declined
- a request for a follow-up interview and a teacher recommendation
Students submitting applications or completing testing after the deadlines will be considered according to the positions available in their particular grade level. Your student becomes officially enrolled when the bottom portion of his or her acceptance letter is returned with the materials and book fee.
